Jamaican Carrot-Ginger-Lime Juice

Carrot juice, because of its many healthy benefits, is frequently called the "miracle juice". Ingredients :

2 cups washed, peeled and chopped carrots, about 6 medium carrots
2 cups cold water
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 Tablespoons lime juice
sugar to taste
a pinch of salt
crushed ice for serving

Method:
1.Combine the carrots, water, ginger and lime juice in a blender and process until smooth.
2. Strain and add salt and sugar to taste. Pour over crushed ice.
